 Rental Policies
Pure Exotics wants to make sure your driving experience is a safe and fun adventure. The following terms and conditions apply to all vehicles and may be modified at the sole discretion of Pure Exotics.
Age and Driving Record Requirements
Rentals are restricted to drivers at least 25 yrs old with a valid driver's license, with no major moving violations, including DUI/DWI.
Insurance
All renters must carry their own full-coverage comprehensive liability and physical damage (500/500) auto insurance, with rental coverage that extends to our vehicles. Proof of insurance and evidence of sufficient coverage must be provided. If you have lower amounts or need assistance with your auto insurance, please contact us. We work everyday with insurance companies to confirm coverage.
Additional Drivers
A $75 charge will be assessed for each additional driver. Additional drivers must be authorized and meet the same requirements as the primary driver. Each additional driver must complete a rental application, credit check, provide damage deposit, and must provide evidence of insurance and/or be included in the primary driver’s insurance coverage.
Delivery / Pick-up
Complimentary door-to-door service is available within 20 miles of our
Reston, VA location. Anything outside of a 20 mile radius is charged at a rate
of $3 per mile. Maximum delivery area is 50 miles... anything outside of
50 miles is determined on a case by case basis and may be subject to additional
delivery charges.
Complimentary airport pickup is available from Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA).
Credit Check
As part of the standard rental application, Pure Exotics will process a credit check to confirm the renter’s credit standing, credit worthiness, and general reputation. This credit check will include driving records as necessary to comply with the rental requirements.
Reservation Deposit
To confirm your reservation, Pure Exotics will charge your credit card 50% of the total rental agreement.
Security Deposit
All rentals require an advanced credit card authorization of $5,000 security deposit per driver for protection against incidental damage or misuse of the vehicle. The credit card will be pre-authorized only, and no charges will be incurred unless damage or misuse of the car is identified. Each driver (primary and secondary) must provide a seperate damage deposit
Vehicle Care
To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the interior and exterior of our vehicles, please adhere to the following restrictions: Absolutely no smoking and no eating or drinking inside the vehicle. Please treat these rare cars with the same care and consideration as if you owned it. Drive safe and please do not drink and drive.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
All reservations are subject to the Pure Exotics cancellation and rescheduling policy as stated below. Pure Exotics may at its sole discretion modify this policy on a case by case basis (rescheduling, severe weather, etc).

Payment Methods
VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover, are accepted.
Fuel Requirements
Every rental vehicle is delivered to the customer with a full tank of Premium grade (93+ octane) gasoline. The customer is required to return the car with a full tank; and all vehicles MUST be refueled with Premium grade gasoline. A $500 charge will be assessed if a lesser grade is used.
Driving Area Restrictions
Rental vehicles are restricted to Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.
Prohibited Uses
All rental vehicles are prohibited from the following uses:
- Cannot be used in any illegal activity
- Cannot be driven by anyone unlicensed to drive, or who has a suspended, revoked, or otherwise restricted license.
- Cannot be used for hire, or to transport people or property for hire
- Cannot be driven on any racetrack or any road course; cannot be involved in any drag racing, “autocrossing,” or participate in any speed racing or track event of any type.
- Cannot be driven on any unpaved surface
- Cannot be used in any promotional activities without prior approval
All vehicles are equipped with GPS devices and can be used to pinpoint the exact location of the car at any time. If the vehicle is used in any prohibited manner, Pure Exotics has the ability to remotely disable the vehicle. In this case, the entire rental fee is forfeited to Pure Exotics and the additional cost of retrieving, towing and otherwise obtaining the vehicle will be applied to the renter’s security deposit.
Tickets
Pure Exotics is not responsible for any parking, speeding, traffic or any other violations issued while the vehicle is rented. The renter is responsible for all infractions as well as paying any penalties, towing or impound costs, or other costs that are incurred due to the renter’s negligence.
Mileage
All vehicle rental policies include 100 complimentary miles per day. Additional miles are billed at $2.00 per mile, or as otherwise stated in the rental contract. |
